What to do after you make a decision to maintain abstinence

Making the decision to begin and maintain abstinence, as well as starting your recovery journey, is a big first step towards getting your life back and having the one you deserve.

Once you have made that decision, you then need to identify and seek the treatment and support that will give you the best chance of accomplishing your goal.

Why? There are two reasons.

The first one is because a plan will provide the direction you need to go to have the best chance to achieve the most consistent recovery possible.

The second is choosing the treatment that best suits your needs and will give you the necessary support to stay focused on your recovery.
